MSC8152是业内性能较高的双核DSP，它基于恩智浦SC3850 StarCore^®技术，利用多加速器平台引擎(MAPLE-B)提升性能，支持快速傅里叶变换(FFT)和反向快速傅里叶变换(iFFT)、离散傅里叶变换(DFT)和反向离散傅里叶变换(iDFT)、Turbo和Viterbi解码。MAPLE-B加速器专为支持当今高性能医疗、航空与国防以及高级测试与测量市场的高级处理要求和功能而设计。它提供了较高的性能和节能效率，在高度集成的片上系统(SoC)中采用45 nm工艺技术，达到与2 GHz单核器件同等的性能。MSC8152可帮助设备制造商创造出在更小尺寸的硬件内集成更多功能的终端产品和服务。
