Convenience, personalization and efficiency were some of our watchwords as we introduced our new platform—the Virtual Technology Showroom— to the world. The platform connects us with our audiences and allows them to experience our breakthrough technologies in a new, interactive way.
You've probably come across the expression “thinking outside the box” so often that it has lost its meaning. But we'll bring it up once more as we go through what it takes to deliver a truly innovative brand experience. A lot has happened in the past few years that has caused a rethink of many things. Why shouldn't brand experience be one?
Brand experience requires thinking outside the box. If the world around us is transforming, how brands connect with their audiences should too. This belief and our commitment to our audiences spurred the introduction of our Virtual Technology Showroom. The award-winning platform, developed in collaboration with our vendor SolidSense, was unveiled at CES 2022 and has left a mark on our industry.
Innovation never stops and something new is introduced almost every minute. It goes without saying that the means of reaching people keep evolving—smartphones, tablets, PCs and many more. This allows people to experience a brand however they want. With its immersive digital presence, our state-of-the-art Virtual Technology Showroom provides our audiences with that. Visitors can enjoy its rich media which includes interactive demos, infographics, text and videos on any device of choice.

There's something soothing about having access to a resource whenever and wherever. In your pocket and your purse. Indoor and outdoor. At home, work or anywhere else. This is what our virtual showroom achieves— bringing our audiences closer to our solutions 24/7. Visitors can independently get the latest information about our technologies and learn more about their use cases by simply navigating through our demo storyboards. They can choose between taking a journey by the inbuilt visual highlights and pop-ups, or a “narrator-guided walkthrough”.
Prioritizing user experience puts the user in the driver's seat. It allows personalization and control by letting them choose what they want to see, hear or feel. From automotive, industrial, and consuner, that choice is at their fingertips. One thing was on our mind during the design of our Virtual Showroom: our audiences are varied and have different needs. With more than 45 system solutions, our visitors can access content at a broader level or delve into our products and technologies in detail. Its localization feature also enables language customizations to reach visitors everywhere. Whatever their need, the user is in full control.
Today's perception of brand experience is still unilateral – physical OR digital. For us at NXP, it's different. We're combining in-person experience with the virtual one. The result? Hybrid! Our ultimate goal is merging the engagement and networking benefits of in-person events with the personalization and all-time availability of our Virtual Technology Showroom. As such, our audiences who are able to use both options won't feel they're missing out on anything. And those who can't, can select an option that meets their needs best. This approach shows that not thinking in boxes opens up new possibilities.
