The NFC Cube kit is a set of tools to demonstrate Near Field Communication (NFC) and the variety of use cases enabled by NXP’s NFC solution, and what are the use cases that are offered by this standard and by the NXP products.

The NFC Cube kit is interoperable with our NTAG I2C plus Explorer board, which enables you to demonstrate how 2 devices can communicate via NFC.

Microcontroller

  • Based on PN7462AU NFC microcontroller
  • Read contactless and contact cards
  • Communicate with a cell phone, to read out the color history, or set a color to the NFC Cube
  • Exchange data with the NTAG I2C plus Explorer board Connected to a PC, the NFC Cube can be used as a CCID reader for all ISO/IEC 15693, ISO/IEC 14443, and MIFARE cards
