Shrikant is CTO and cofounder of Excelfore, where he drives the company’s technology road map & partnerships. He also serves on the board the eSync Alliance, an automotive industry trade association dedicated to creating a multicompany standard for the data pipeline from servers in the cloud to edge devices in the vehicle. An early advocate for Ethernet AVB/TSN, he provided the first automotive AVB protocol stacks to BMW in 2011 and achieved the first AVnu certification of AVB talker & listener stacks in 2017. His prior experiences include cofounder of Margi Systems (acquired by Harman International), telecom engineering at Widergren Communications, datacom engineering at Cirrus Logic and image compression engineering at Telephoto Communications. In the 1990s, he spearheaded the X3L3 ANSI & ISO committees and was instrumental in forging the JPEG, MPEG and JBIG imaging standards.

Max holds a BS and MS in Computer Engineering and a Master of Technology Management degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
