Trimension SR040进行了优化，支持低功耗操作，减少了对外部组件的需求，专为纽扣电池供电的物联网设备而设计，如UWB跟踪器和标签。内置的恩智浦FiRa™ MAC支持互操作性，可加快产品上市速度。Trimension SR040能够与BLE或其他连接控制器集成在一个设备中。作为到达时差(TDoA)标签，它们只能发送闪烁包。
