201710043I : SAF7741/SAF7740 Family Marking Introduction Internal Traceabiliy Code DIDT

From 2018 onwards an additional code will be marked on top of the devices from the SAF7741/SAF7740 family to enhance traceabilitiy of the NXP assembly line.This code will be printed on the unused line 5 under the existing device marking and is an unique device ID for traceability purposes only. The unique device ID enables additional traceability of the device production events (man/machine/method/tooling) from WT Assembly to FT for internal process improvements.An example of the new marking is shown in the attached document.
