About the product

The S32S2xxTV Development Package is an optional software package that can be installed on S32 Design Studio in order to provide support for the S32S2xxTV family of processors. • Applications for S32S2xxTV can be debugged. The following debugging options are supported:
    • Simulation: This option requires the Synopsys simulation tools and the VDK for S32S2xxTV. The required software should be pre-installed on S32 Design Studio.
    • Debugging on the target: This option requires the evaluation board with the target MCU. The board should be connected to the computer with the Lauterbach probe, S32 Debug Probe or using CMSIS-DAP.
  • Projects for S32S2xxTV can optionally define the image vector table (IVT) and the pins, clocks, peripherals and DCD configurations using the S32 Configuration tool.
Note: To compile projects for S32S2xxTV, S32 Design Studio uses the standard GCC tools and does not depend on the resources of the S32S2xxTV Development Package.
