Problems view will indicate if the DCD tool has a problem.
The tool will perform the following verifications:
- DCD Image oversize. If at any point, import of MEX configuration, DCD binary, or current modification, the image gets above 8192 bytes, the tool will automatically generate an error.
- Empty Mask or Address fields
- Invalid value in Mask, Address, Count fields, and as well in the Peripheral, Register and Bitfields fields. Either the input has no recognized number format, or the value is too big.
- Invalid alignment with the target width on the Address or Register fields.
- The value written in the value field does not fit in the current available bitfields (when a register is selected and the advanced only mode is disabled)
- Write commands shouldn’t access HSE address range, for CC parts is 2200_0000h - 2327_DFFFh
