If you are modifying a graph that is used by program project diagram, you may need to update the program diagram after these modifications are made. For example, if you add one more kernel with corresponding inputs and outputs to your graph diagram, you have to update the program diagram and connect additional inlets and outlets to new inputs and outputs. This is because the program diagram is still using references to the graph information it used before you have modified the related graph.
In order to update the process in the program diagram, perform the following steps:

Right-click on the process block and select Update from APEX2
Graph from the shortcut menu. If the updating procedure failed,
remove and add the process manually: drag Process from
Graph from the Palette and drop it to the
canvas.
The program diagram will be updated, and new input/output elements will be available according to graph changes.
