Completing the high-level diagram

In the program project, open the high-level diagram and complete it by adding and configuring the inlet and outlet elements.

To complete the diagram:

  1. In the Palette pane, drag the Inlet and Outlet elements and drop them to the canvas.
  2. To define the properties of the Inlet and Outlet elements, click each element on the canvas.

    Inlet properties

    Open the Base tab of the Properties view and specify the required properties for the element selected on the canvas. Refer to APEX2 Program Palette for details.

  3. Connect the ports of the APEX2 process with the inlet and outlet elements. To connect two elements, click Connector in the Palette pane, then click the initial and the target item on the canvas. Press and hold the Ctrl key to add several connectors.
