Suspending and resuming the program execution

To suspend the program execution:
Choose Run > Suspend or click (Suspend) on the toolbar to halt execution of the currently selected thread in a debug target.
To resume the program execution:
Choose Run > Resume or click (Resume) on the toolbar to resume execution of the currently suspended debug target.
