- Select Windows > Show Views > Others from the IDE menu bar.
The
Show View
dialog box appears.
- Expand the Debug group and select Target Tasks.
- Click OK.
The
Target Tasks
view appears.
- Click the Create a new Target Task icon in the Target Tasks view toolbar.
The
Create New Target Task
wizard appears.
- In the Task Name text box, enter the name of the target task.
- From the Run Configuration drop-down list, select a configuration.
Note: Select Active Debug Context from the Run Configuration drop-down list, if you want to use Flash Programmer over an active debug session, else select any of the specified debug context from the list.
- From the Task Type drop-down list, select the appropriate Flash Programmer.

- Click Finish.
The <target>
Flash Programmer Task
editor window appears.
Note: The <target> Flash Programmer Task editor window has groups to define flash devices, Flash Programmer actions, and target RAM settings.
