RTOS adapter driver is a special driver in Processor Expert, internally used in the code generation process to generate code fragments specific to the selected RTOS. RTOS adapter driver is not visible to the user (it is not listed within the project) except the configuration properties of RTOS adapter driver that are included within the group of properties of RTOS component.
There is no difference between RTOS adapter component and RTOS adapter driver from the user perspective, but there is a difference from the Processor Expert perspective. Both RTOS adapter component and RTOS adapter driver act as one RTOS adapter. For details, see RTOS adapter driver topic.
