Connecting Ethernet TAP probe to target system

An RJ-11 cable (P/N 600-12500) is provided with the Ethernet TAP probe to connect to the serial port of your target system.

To connect serial cable between Ethernet TAP probe and serial port of target system

  1. Connect one end of the RJ-11 cable, and the appropriate adapter, to the serial port on your target system board.
  2. Connect the other end of the RJ-11 cable to the Ethernet TAP probe RJ-11 serial connector, labeled Target Serial.
