MC68322 Device Errata (1F65E)

This errata list applies to the following 68322 mask sets:

The mask set for each part is usually encoded into the device
topside markings.  However, some of the PC silicon does not
indlude the mask.  For example, either of the following
markings would indicate a device from the 1F65E mask:

            PC68322FT        PC68322FE
              F65E            ENG9418
             ENG9428

1. DRAM arbitration problem - Scenario: DMA controller
requests the DRAM bus, and the 68000 is also requesting the
DRAM bus but with a lower priority.  The DMA controller
should be granted the bus, but the 68000 is granted instead.
No bus cycle is started, and DTACK is witheld from the 68000.
The system freezes until a hard reset.

Note: This problem will occur only when almost all of the
modules on the 68322 are active at the same time.  It is very
possible that you may never encounter this problem.

Workaround: Do not use either of the DMA controllers.
